The Witch’s Spell is the 3rd book in the 5 Witches Series. This book follow Salem, the water witch of the coven as she tries to find a purpose for herself. She travels to Ireland where she learns about druid magic as well as locating the b!tch who betrayed Trinity. She thought she was ready… she may have overestimated herself.
This book has been progressing well. Had a little snag with Chapter 5, but managed to get through it and am now on to Chapter 7. This is going to be a spicier book than the previous 2. Since it is also based in Ireland, I’ve been having fun writing in the accent. I might have made it a bit more Scottish than Irish, but I’m trying. I’m also experimenting with writing this in between my trilogy and other small side projects. It’s helped me not feel so stuck like I did with Book 2. I have it a bit more planned out on what I want to happen in specific chapters, so that’s also helping me stay on track.
I’m hoping to start publishing the trilogy come January, and would like to have this book done and published by November 5th. That is the goal date. It’s for a specific reason. Did you know that the 5 women in the main series (Trinity, Kitty Sue, Salem, Sophie and Rebecca) are all based on REAL people?! Salem is based on one of my bestest Army Wife friends. She’s also the one that has been helping a lot with the series when I get stuck. So, I figure…. if I can get this book done in time, I want it to release on her birthday. I’m fairly sure she doesn’t read my blogs, so this will be a nice surprise for her!
Keep checking back here for more updates on this series as well as other works.
