Discovering the Reaper: Theda has always been a little odd. When Hell took over the world, literally, she and her bestie hid. For three years, they managed to stay off the radar of every demon in the city; even though Theda seems to have a Demon magnet attached to her. That all changes one day when they go above ground on a mission to gather supplies. A day the angels come down to protect… her bestie? Of course they would. Now, faced with new issues, like being attracted to Galen, her bestie’s Guardian Angel, she also keeps being told that she is NOT human… which is just not true… right? Not only is every demon in the city after her, but apparently so is the local Fallen Angel. Maybe there’s more to Theda than she really ever knew?!
This is book 1 of the Soul Bond Series. There are 3 books total, with the possibility of more utilizing supporting characters. The trilogy focuses on Theda (They-duh), a quirky girl who seems to have a beacon that calls demons from far and wide to her. She’s had a rough upbringing, but at least her bestie has always been by her side. I won’t give too much away right now, but I’m sure you noticed that there is a Reaper aspect to this book (If you didn’t, go read the title again…).
All three books are complete with their 1st draft. I’m trying to write in between full-time job and holidays every time I turn around, so it’s been a struggle to get edits moving. After December 15th, I will be able to completely focus on getting this first book ready for publication. I’m hoping to launch the Trilogy January 19th (It’s my parents’ anniversary, and I want to have it as a special day since my mom passed in 2020). The second book I’m hoping to launch mid/late May, and the final book out in mid/late September. So, you won’t be waiting years to read the entire trilogy… only a few months.
This trilogy is an angels/demons flow. There are 5 main characters that will be in all 3 books, even though the story is centered on Theda. Books 2 and 3 will feature a special demon glossary of demon name pronunciations as well as descriptions. Book 1 will feature a section in the beginning with name pronunciations of characters. I’m really hoping to get the hype going for this trilogy. It is really a labor of love and I, personally, enjoy re-reading it. I’ve read through all 3 books probably about 30x each, and still going. If you are attending Flirty in Kansas City on February 2nd, you will be able to pick up some epic sticker swag!!! I may have gone a little sticker crazy for this trilogy…
