Salem Bound!

I am so excited for this signing in Salem next weekend!! I can honestly say that I have SOOOOO much going on with it! I have a bunch of new swag, a bunch of new jewelry, and even a new book! Not to mention the unveiling of my new cover! I don’t know anyone that lives closer than 6 hours from Salem, so I’m trying my best to pimp myself. It’s so much easier to pimp other people! I’ve been working on getting everything packed and ready as well. Usually, I have my rollie took box that I use to haul all my displays, and then a couple boxes of books and my jewelry kit. This round I have like 4 extra boxes to fit in my car as well as clothing. I’m hoping it all fits in my car for the very long drive. It’s going to take me about 24 hours (that I’m doing in 3 days). The best part is my bestie from Syracuse, NY is going to drive down and hang out with me Saturday. Hubby is flying in Friday!

I’ve been to quite a few events. Planet Comicon in Kansas City is the biggest event I’m part of (except this year cuz I’m broke). That’s a 3 day event, but there’s a shit ton of stuff that happens there. Art, books, celebs, etc. This event is JUST BOOKS! Salem is an author signing event with nothing but books! I’m now competing with like 300 other people trying to push my books. Other authors who have been writing for much longer than me, OR have a lot more books. I have 6…. so yea… Not a lot. I do have some jewelry and trinkets I make that I sell only at events. I’m hoping that will help as well.

I even have a super fun giveaway basket that will be raffled off at my table! I always try to put a lot of thought into my baskets. Since this event is “witchy”, and witchy is my jam, I tried to get magical with the basket. There’s also some funs surprises in there too. I’m really excited to see how this event goes for me. Please cross your fingers that I’ll have some good luck in the land of magic!
