So, I’m a big lover of wine. Sweet wine if I’m being 100% honest. If it tastes like fruit juice, chances are that I’m going to love it. I worked for Olive Garden back in the day for a long time. I was very well versed in wines at one point in my life. Every few years hubs and I go to the Finger Lakes with our bestie and go wine tasting. For those of you confused: Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York (the real Upstate), is WINE COUNTRY! So many vineyards, so little time. We came home with 43 bottles one year. If I still have that picture, I would share. It was amazing… we barely fit it in our SUV.
So, why am I talking about wine? Because EVERYTHING seems to always be about beer these days. I hate beer. And before you get all high and mighty, I used to enjoy beer until an unfortunate game of Beer Pong in College. Now I can’t drink it without that memory hitting and making me gag. That is a story for another time. Some with Red Bull/Vodka… so unfortunate…. ANYWAYS! I love wine. If it ever got to the point where I can’t drink if because of unfortunate events, I would be so so sad. I’m not a huge liquor drinker either. I’ll mix some stuff up if I’m in the mood, but wine is my go-to. Or Cider… I do love a good cider.
How about you? Are you a wino? Do you prefer sweet or dry? Maybe a mix? My Mother-in-law likes the dry stuff. To each their own. I don’t judge. But, I am curious! So please take a minute and vote on the thingy below. You don’t have to of course, but I am very interested to see where everyone falls!
