Great Gatsby Event!

On November 8th, I had my last author signing event for the year. I was able to attend because it was 20 minutes from my house, and I had a sitter for the few hours it was being held. I love KC Book Beat events because they are in the evening, so I don’t have to be up at the A$$ crack of dawn to set up a table. I do wish I had more of my current WIPs done, but twins is a lot of work! I got to spend the evening with awesome hubby, who played PA for me. I love having him at events with me, as he was the OG PA for me before I met my amazing PA, Cyndall. He even dressed up as Gatsby is his favorite book, and he loves this era of style. He looked so handsome!

I was so excited to see one of my favorite author friends, Elle Sparrow. She’s recently taken on the title of VP for KC Book Beat, and we were twinning it at the event. Same outfit, but different colors. I told her that we should wear these for Christmas! She’s looking fabulous, and we spent our free time at the event coming up with great food puns that should totally become shmexy stories. It is always so great to see her and catch up on life.

Finally, my amazing PA, Cyndall, was there with a couple baby authors, helping them out. She was looking amazing in her outfit, and I totally should have rocked her style because she looked so comfy, but also soooo stylish! I missed having her at my table with me, but I had hubby as PA for this event. I’m just glad she was also there, so I got to see her! I can’t wait for life to start evening out a bit so that we can get back in a good flow and knock out some books for me and some awesome resin art for her! Next event together should be Planet Comicon KC. Hopefully I will have at least 1, if not 2 new books for that event with a lot of thanks for the help from my great PA!
