Flame & Fantasy Ball

This past Saturday, my wonderful PA (and bestie), and I went to the Flame & Fantasy Ball put on by the Dark Flame Society. It was an interesting experience (being as I’m 18 weeks pregnant with twins). I was actually really happy my dress fit, and I didn’t look too horrible in it. Dress:

I made the horrible choice to wear heels. I don’t recommend in the future. My feet did not have fun. I didn’t do too much dancing because of said shoes, and from being very tired as I was at the Book Market event that morning. I am glad I went because I got to meet some wonderful people and booktok cosplayers as well! There was a professional picture of me taken that I don’t have yet, but when I get it, you’ll be sure to know. I have 2 more events before I call it quits until after the girls are born. The ball had some live music, and we even got to witness a proposal!! It was freaking adorable! Everyone dressed up so well, and seeing all the different fancy dresses was such a feast for the eyes.

The music was a bit loud for me, and there was a mix of strobe lights, so I didn’t get the best pictures. Honestly, between juggling my feet hurting, and trying to not lose my purse and phone, I didn’t have an extra hand to take more pictures. I’m glad I got what I could. I also found out that my hair glows under black light which was kind of neat! Now to try and recoup for the next event in May. I’m glad my dress fit, but I’m also glad I won’t need to wear it again any time soon. Will probably donate it or sell it…
