This new event (taken over from an old event) was definitely interesting. I don’t write monster/alien romance, so I was the odd man out. Reaper was the one that everyone wanted. I’m down to 1 copy left and no time for restock before my next event. Not a horrible problem to have, but does mean I need to figure out some things. This event was really fun and I met a bunch of new author friends. The lady next to me had 3D printed stuff, and the other side of me had very interesting monster/alien romance. I didn’t get any books besides 1 pre-order. I was trying to be good because my TBR is crazy. I will never be able to read all these books I have.

I got to wear my new dress! I love it! It was super comfy and I felt very stylish. I was even more happy to know it was a lot less tight then when I bought it, so bonus! My new pin collection that I see seemed to go over well and I will have those moving forward. It was a nice way to talk to people that don’t really read my genre, but maybe would if they took a chance to stop and talk. I got a few new readers and I hope they love the book they got! Even had to improvise on a new Newsletter signup because my usual one is missing and I cannot find the stupid thing anywhere. Luckily there was a DG near my hotel and I was able to have something. I have a lot of work to do for my next signing this coming weekend. Back to back signings is a lot…
There was also some kind of “car show” going on in Pigeon Forge. I don’t really call them cars since they were more rice burners on wheels. And half of them had the weird wheels that are like diagonal?! I don’t understand kids these days… Hubs and I took the motorcycles and went on the Tail again, but this time it was a bit more scary because said “cars” were also on it, and a lot of them don’t know how to stay in their lane… It was interesting, and I’m glad hubs and I are more experienced with the Tail and know how to avoid idiots. All in all, not a bad event. I don’t know if I’ll be able to attend again in the future, but I’m glad I went this year!
