Every year since 2019 I’ve had a booth at Planet Comicon Kansas City. With everything going on in my personal life, I decided to take the year off and not get a table. While I’m a little upset about that since all my Con-family did really well selling their books, I did get the chance to meet Matthew Lillard! And OMG! He is the nicest man! So kind and sweet. He had been going non-stop since like 9:30am with fans. Was supposed to take a break at 2:30pm, and opted not to because we all had been waiting in line for 4+ hours to meet him. With how tired he MUST have been, he was still kind and talked to everyone. He was so kind when I asked if I could put him in a book. I don’t know if he thought I was joking, but he played along either way. Then he told me, “Your hair is fire!” I thought that was so sweet. I even asked for a hug in which he said, “hug the sh!t out of me!” Two memories I will cherish forever! As well as meeting some new friends while we waited in line for so long.

Besides that, I got to hang out with my buddy, Joshua Howell, and help him SELL OUT of his books! I’m so happy for him! It was the first year he has accomplished that, and I’m glad I was there to help. It also gave me the chance to finally walk around the con and spend too much money LOL! I got a bunch of Sailor Moon figures, and of course, WAY TOO MANY STICKERS! I literally went around on Sunday and got probably $200 worth of stickers from artists and authors. I’m using that $200 loosely as well because I’m sure it was more. Either way, I had fun and will now start getting ready for my signing in April! I can’t wait!
