Sorry, but I’ll be MIA for a while…

I’m dealing with some family issues, so I haven’t been able to update you with silly nonsense, author world drama, or my book stuff. I’m actually having to extend my stay in order to get some things handled properly. All I can say is that I detest when people half-ass their jobs. Especially people in the medical field. I have a lot of nurse friends. My aunt is an EMT, and I have a cousin who is a doctor. I understand that those jobs are HARD. Nurses, especially, are over worked and underpaid. BUT, when your job is to help my someone’s family member better (and not die), and you half ass that. You are a shit person. When a patient’s family has to inquire as to why their family member’s bed is completely soiled and needs to be changed (and has been the same sheets for days), or request hydration and chapstick because the patient’s mouth is so dry it’s bleeding… OR WHEN THE PATIENT HAS AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO NEW MEDICATION AND YOU JUST LET THEM SUFFER; you are a shit medical professional and should seek new employment.

Anyways… I’m a bit heated and dealing with a lot, so writing and getting my new Trilogy out is going to be postponed. Thanks for staying with me. And for those of you who are in the medical field and are good at your job, thank you. Thank you for caring for people’s family and making sure they get the care they need.
