So I head so much crazy today. All about Twitter and this new thing: Threads…..??? Apparently it’s like Twitter, but from the Zuk and attached to Instagram. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Instagram. It’s probably the only social media I actually enjoy. I have FB for family and for my authoring, but I hate having to rely on it. I do NOT have twitter. I do not ever plan to get twitter. I do have Snapchat, though I never use the damn thing, and that’s about it. I miss MySpace… anyone else miss MySpace?!
Anyways, Today I heard that Twitter is going to start limiting how many tweets you can view a day or a month of something. (I don’t know for sure. This is all hear-say). However, if it is true, why?! What’s the point? Elon bought Twitter to stop the censoring (supposedly). The 1st amendment and all that. If you are trying to be the people’s voice, why would you try to stifle that? Doesn’t make you look good man. Something about not allowing “free” users to view as much as blue checked people. I don’t know, I don’t have Twitter. It sounds freaking dumb though. I know a lot of people that use Twitter for business. A lot of people like to check in on their favorite celebs. A lot of Authors use it to promote. I also heard that Elon is trying to insert ads to get more money, which is all well and good, but can’t do shit if you are making people want to leave the platform.
Then I heard about Threads. Apparently it’s Zuk’s way of creating his own Twitter. I most likely will not get that either. I enjoy pictures, which is why IG is my favorite. Lots of words bore me unless it’s in a book. I even enjoy the little blurbs people write under their stories on IG. Either way, on the way home from dinner, I heard on the radio that Elon is suing Zuk because of this Threads thing that too closely resembles Twitter. I about died laughing at the ridiculousness. Elon is making people want to leave because they don’t feel the platform is going to work out for them with the limitations, Zuk has decided to grow is ever giant business by sneaking in to “give the people what they want”. It’s freaking hilarious. Honestly, people with too much money wanting attention if you ask me. They’re bored and trying to stir up drama. Again, I miss MySpace. I wish I could remember my log in. I had a freaking awesome page too with music and fun back ground. That was the freaking place to be! Lets go back to that!
