Let’s Do More Signings!

So, I had already been signed up for 3 events, but now I’m signed up for 5, and waiting to hear back from 2 others! One signing is a couple days after my birthday, so that will be fun! The other is an event I’m going to because one of my best friends is moving to South Dakota, and this event is close to her, so I’ll get to visit! I know a lot of authors that signed at dozens of events through the year. Since I’m a teacher, my “year” starts in August. I don’t start in January because that is NOT when the school year begins. I am only planning on taking 1 year off from teaching. When I’m not at an event, I will be subbing and spending time with my hubby. I’m really excited about these 2 events I’ve joined.

The one I’ll be attending after TropiCon will be in Iowa. It’s not a far drive for me, maybe like 5 hours max. I’ll be most likely carpooling with a friend if hubs can’t attend. I’m interested in how this event will be since it will only be the 2nd year, and I don’t know the hosts like I know the hosts for the other signings I’m apart of. I’m really excited to branch out and meet new people and attend different events. I know there are events all over the world, and my goal is to attend one in England or Ireland, as both are beautiful places I got to visit and would love to go back.

The most likely last event of my year is the one in SD. My best friend in Kansas got an amazing job opportunity in SD and is moving soon. I’m really sad as I don’t have a lot of close friends in Kansas, but I’m really excited for her! When this event showed up, and I know quite a few author friends that have attended in the past, I decided to sign up! I’m happy that I got accepted and it will give me the chance to visit my friend and see how she’s doing. I’ve also never been to SD, so it will be a really exciting experience for me! Again, I’m hoping hubs can join me because we will end up making it a mini-vacation since neither of us have been to that area. I do hope you can join! I’d love a chance to meet my website readers!!
