Pimping My Friends Book

Pre-Order/Order Here

A couple weeks ago an Author friend of mine asked me to Pre-read her new book she was about to release. Now, as an Irish person, I love books that have Irish characters. I have a couple friends that have done MMA, so I knew about that aspect and all around I just love romance stories. I told her I would be happy to read it and give her some feedback. Let me tell you, this book was awesome! It was spicy and fun and her use of imagery is astounding. You really get sucked into the story and can’t put it down.

Killian (one of my most favorite names btw) is a super fun character that you both feel bad for, but sometimes want to smack upside the head. His MMA career was ended too soon, and he might have a slight drinking problem. He hates his best friends’ girl, and doesn’t really want to settle down. I really enjoyed his character development through the story.

Molly (said best friend’s little sister) is home from NYC because of some rather disturbing situations. She’s 12 years younger than Killian and has had a crush on him since forever. I though the age gap would bother me, but I didn’t even really notice it. I enjoyed the banter and Molly is quite mature for 24. She balances out Killian. She was very interesting to read and I connected with her a lot more than I thought I would for a made-up person.

I’d have to say, the best part for me were the spicy bits. And let me tell you, this book gets down and dirty. It is so well written. Some of the scenes were so good I even asked my husband to read them. Just so you know, my husband NEVER reads books. I can’t even get him to read my books. He read the last half of this book and really enjoyed it. It actually got him asking to read more like it. The man that HATES reading, wants to read more spicy romance books. In all honesty, I’ve re-read this book about a dozen times now. It’s so good. I don’t usually pimp other peoples books. I have enough to do to get my own books noticed, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to tell everyone about this book. Please go read this book, and tell Frankie that I sent you!
